# Resolve any identifier to its owner

GET https://api.aventure.vc/v1/resolve/{token}

Resolve any identifier token to its canonical entity or person. Tries UUID, then the stable public handle, then external registry ids, then the slug (with redirects). Returns 404 when nothing matches and 409 when an external id maps to multiple owners.

## Authentication

- `Authorization` header (bearer token, required) — User bearer token: Supabase or Clerk session JWT, Clerk OAuth access token, or Clerk personal API key
- `X-API-Key` header (required) — Admin API key for system-to-system write operations
- `X-Client-Secret` header (required) — Client secret for read-only service-to-service access (no writes)

## Request

### Path parameters

- `token` (string, required) — Any identifier: a stable public handle (e.g. eV1StGXR8Z5a), a UUID, an external registry id (ticker, LEI, EIN, ...), or a slug.

- `matchedBy` (enum, required) — Which identifier kind matched the token.
  - Allowed values: `PUBLIC_ID`, `UUID`, `EXTERNAL_ID`, `SLUG`
- `owner` (object, required) — Canonical entity/person owner matched by the token.
  - `entityId` (string, optional, nullable) — Canonical entity UUID
  - `personId` (string, optional, nullable) — Canonical person UUID
- `publicId` (string, optional, nullable) — Canonical stable public handle of the resolved subject; null on rows still awaiting handle backfill.
- `slug` (string, optional, nullable) — Canonical slug of the resolved subject.
